Welcome to 2010, I hope you all had a great New Years eve! I don't know about you, but I for one am rather thankful for the end of the holiday seasons As much fun as it is to catch up with distant family members, decorate the home with pretty lights, drink too much, eat too much and share all kinds of new presents and fun stuff...it's exhausting.
I am however extremely excited about the new year. For some reason I have this strange feeling of excitement and peace, in knowing that this year is going to be really great!
Perhaps because last year was one less than favorable.. a lot of readjusting from my move back across the country, a lot of foolish mistakes in my personal life and constantly under stress never feeling like there were enough hours in the day,
However, I suppose I had to make the mistakes I did in order to be able to look back on and have grown and learned a lot about myself because of them.
But, I have decided that this year is all about ME and making myself happy, because that is what should be important. I have found I spend entirely too much time focusing on other people and their expectations of me, which in turn causes me too put a lot of extra pressure on myself to please and not to disappoint, leading to an ultimately overall negative attitude towards myself of not feeling I am ever good enough. Well.. *News Flash*.. I am
I have a lot of personal goals for inward self growth and improvement which only adds to my excitement about this new year.
My website is still under major reconstruction and has been for far too long but I have no one to blame for that except myself, I am simply struggling with what exact direction I plan to take my professional self in... I am currently working on designing and launching my own line of fashion & accessories which I will be incorporating into my site as well as all of the work I have produced over the years as one of your favorite Alt models. *Hehe*
Somehow I will manage to find a way to tie it all into one big pretty bow!
...So 2010.. bring it on!
